Mr. Whiskers, a round, fluffy cat with a wobbly belly, sat lazily by the kitchen counter. His eyes suddenly spotted a tiny mouse darting across the floor, carrying a piece of cheese. Mr. Whiskers (thinking): “Finally… lunch!” He launched himself off the counter—but his belly got stuck on the edge for a moment, dangling comically. The mouse paused, twitching its nose, then zipped under a chair. Mr. Whiskers slid across the floor like a cartoon, claws skidding on the tiles, tail flopping wildly. He crashed into a stack of pots, which tumbled like dominoes, making a huge clatter. The mouse squeaked and ran up a curtain, and Mr. Whiskers tried to follow. He jumped, caught the edge with his paws, but his back legs kicked in the air like a windmill before he toppled onto a pile of cushions.
