Peter Pan Wendy and her brothers John and Michael live in a London nursery filled with toys, stories, and dreams of adventure. One night, Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up, slips in through the window with his tiny fairy friend Tinker Bell, looking for his lost shadow. Wendy helps him sew it back on, and in return Peter invites the children to Neverland. With a sprinkle of pixie dust and happy thoughts, they fly over the city and across the sea to an island of mermaids, pirates, and forests. There they play with the Lost Boys, meet proud Tiger Lily, and battle the vain but dangerous Captain Hook, whose hand was once bitten off by a crocodile that now follows him for the rest of his body. Wendy tries to be like a mother to Peter and the Lost Boys, telling bedtime stories in a cozy underground home. When Hook captures the children and forces them to walk the plank, Peter swoops in, frees them, and defeats Hook, who falls into the sea and is chased by the ticking crocodile. In the end, Wendy chooses to return home and grow up, while Peter stays behind in Neverland, promising he will visit whenever she needs a story.
