About the Milo and the Wolves

Lost in the dark forest, Milo realizes he's being hunted by wolves! Every shadow seems to hide danger as the pack closes in. Can his speed and cunning save him? Or will the forest become his final resting place? What would you do to survive?

The forest was dark and quiet when Milo the cat realized he was no longer alone. A low howl echoed between the trees, followed by another, and then several more, spreading through the night like a warning. Milo ran, paws barely touching the ground, weaving through roots and bushes as the sound of wolves grew closer behind him. Branches scratched his fur as he leapt over fallen logs and slid beneath tangled vines, listening to the wolves snapping and crashing through the undergrowth. “Stay calm,” Milo whispered to himself, forcing his breath steady as he changed direction again and again. The wolves were strong and relentless, but the forest was narrow, uneven, and full of hiding places only a smaller body could reach. At last, Milo climbed a steep rocky slope and slipped into a narrow crevice between stones, holding his breath as shadows passed below. The wolves circled for a while, their growls fading into frustrated silence before they finally moved on. When the forest became still again, Milo stepped back into the moonlight, shaken but alive, knowing that speed, instinct, and the forest itself had saved him.
