Video script prompt
In a quiet village at the foot of misty mountains, a boy named Haru lived with his grandmother. For years, the rains had stopped, drying rivers and fields. One evening, his grandmother handed him a wooden charm. “The shrine at the mountain’s edge holds the balance of rain,” she said. “If it is forgotten, the rains will vanish. Go, and listen carefully to whatever you meet.” The next morning, Haru climbed the hills to the overgrown shrine. On the steps sat a black cat with golden eyes. “You’re late,” it said. Before his eyes, the cat shimmered and transformed into a young girl. “I am Kuro,” she said. “I am the keeper of this shrine—and of the rain.” Haru asked why the rains had stopped. Kuro explained that she had sealed the rains to protect people from wild storms, but now the village suffered from drought. Determined to help, Haru cleaned the shrine, repaired broken beams, and brought water and offerings. Kuro watched silently, sometimes as a girl, sometimes as the cat. “Why do you care?” she asked. “Because no one else is here,” Haru replied. One evening, as twilight fell, Haru placed a bowl of rice at the altar. “If I release the rain now, it may harm people,” Kuro said. “Then don’t do it alone,” Haru said. Together, they released the rain. It fell soft and gentle, soaking the earth and reviving the village. Kuro shimmered, then collapsed into the black cat, leaping lightly into the mist. The next morning, villagers returned to the shrine with offerings. Sometimes, when rain fell, a black cat could be seen quietly watching from the steps. Haru smiled, knowing that kindness, courage, and care could restore even what seemed lost forever.
