Whiskers munched on a banana and casually tossed the peel onto the forest path. Leo strutted through the forest, chest puffed, until his paw landed on the banana peel. He slipped, spun through the air, and landed “splash!” in a nearby dung pit, mud and dung splattering everywhere. Whiskers staggered forward, nose bleeding from the slip, and shouted, “Wait! Are you sure you want to take her?I just happened to snap the perfect shot of your… um, mud-and-dung masterpiece!” Leo struggled out of the pit, furious, and swiped at Whiskers, hitting him squarely for the first time. Then he grabbed Luna, who screamed as he shook her and dragged her toward the deeper forest, tail whipping and body swaying from his forceful grip. Thinking fast, Whiskers held up an imaginary phone, pointed to it with a sly grin, and said, Just let her go,and I promise this photo won’t ever make it to the Forest Net! The lion hesitated, uncertain. Whiskers added quickly, “Or… you’d better hope your mud-and-dung masterpiece isn’t trending tomorrow! Leo blinked, confused and nervous, giving Whiskers just enough time. Using the moment, Whiskers leapt onto a tree, then helped Luna climb a sturdy trunk. Luna flipped and jumped from branch to branch, tail flicking rapidly, her agile movements allowing her to escape safely. Once they were safe, Whiskers muttered to Luna, Next time, maybe shower before you join the escape plan! She wrinkled her nose, acknowledging the truth in his words. Leo, realizing he had been tricked, sniffed Luna—then recoiled at the stench of mud and dung. Whiskers wrinkled his nose, avoiding her foul smell. In his frustration, Leo accidentally swiped at Whiskers again,hitting him a second time and leaving two large lumps on his head. Whiskers grimaced, rubbing his swollen face, but smirked at the chaos he had orchestrated.
